Criteria for World Languages
and International Studies Academy

Application and entrance requirements:

• Above-average grades, with an emphasis on high academic achievement in English and social studies

• Above-average existing standardized test scores in those same areas

• Teacher recommendations from social studies/history and English teachers

• Two essays: one prepared, to be included with application materials, and one on-site written during the interview process

•  Interview with Academy staff, conducted at the middle schools during school time.
