BHS Students and Staff Welcome Popular Author |

On Tuesday, November 4, 2008, B. H. S. students and staff welcomed Chris Crutcher, the popular author of several short stories and young adult novels, including Staying Fat for Sarah Byrnes, Deadline, and Ironman.
Mr. Crutcher shared his personal experiences that have influenced both his decision to become an author as well as the topics about which he writes.
He visited with several classes during 6th period in the auditorium, where he stayed afterwards signing books and answering questions, and he spoke to Ms. Keenon’s 8th hour creative writing class, when the students were able to ask questions about writing and publishing.
