On Wednesday, November 5, 2008, the Elvina Ness Brandt chapter of the National Honor Society inducted 55 members from the junior and senior classes. Students who were accepted needed to demonstrate excellence in the four tenets of NHS: leadership, scholarship, character, and community service. Approximately 250 people attended the ceremony, including school board members Ken Kaczynski and Donna Smith, as well as Executive Director of Secondary Education for School District U-46, Dr. Tom Donausky, and Bartlett High School Principal Kevin Skinkis. |
