Grand Opening of the Hungry Hawk |

On Wednesday, October 8, 2008, the Hungry Hawk opened with a fabulous lunch served by the Foods Service classes, directed by Linda Snyder, FACS teacher. During the early weeks of this year, much work has been done to freshen up the look of the Hungry Hawk, update the commercial kitchen and many hours of careful planning has been put in to make the restaurant a great compliment to Bartlett High School.
The opening lunch consisted of a crudite of freshly popped, lightly salted popcorn served in a decorative tin. Tables were set nicely with choice of water or ice tea and never left unfilled. The 1st course consisted of a perfect coleslaw followed by the 2nd course of a very flavorful pulled-pork sandwich, served with potato chips and finished with a generous blonde brownie, baked to perfection.
In order to serve the staff at Bartlett, reservations are taken. Menus/forms will be in staff mailboxes. As the year goes on special menus and/or days will be added to accommodate your culinary needs.
