Statement of Purpose
Horizon School is dedicated to the academic, social, and emotional growth of our students.  Each of our students is unique, and each one can succeed if provided with good instruction in a productive environment.  Such an environment is characterized by high expectations, positive attitudes, firm but fair discipline, and cooperation between home and school.

Instructional Programs and Support for Student Learning:
The District Improvement Plan guides the work of School District U-46. The plan is directing the district efforts to achieve the goal of Academic Success for All Students. To meet this goal, the district has developed the Curriculum Center. The Curriculum Center provides an overview of the curriculum at each grade level.
