District Improvement Plan 2007-08

Our Goal: Academic Success for All

District Improvement Plan

The 2007-08 District Improvement Plan continues to keep the goal of improved student learning front and center.  The six pillars (Curriculum, Instruction & Assessment; High Priority Schools; Fiscal Responsibility; Leadership; Data Management; Public Trust & Support) that make up the plan are all focused on the goal of meeting the needs of all of our students. This is done not only through professional development for educators and district staff, but also through a balanced budget that allows more resources to reach the classroom. The data that is available to staff, whether it regards bussing or assessment, is important in ensuring students have a positive learning experience in the district.

Click the pillars on the top of this page to learn more about each area. The goals for each pillar along with a brief overview are available. Starting in September, monthly updates will track the activities and progress in each pillar.

Our Strategy: To Focus Resources, Efforts and Energies on Student Achievement
