How to Apply

Remember :  Each year a new free and reduced application must be turned in to be eligible.

Who: Parents of students that may be eligible for free or reduced meals.

What: Free and reduced meal applications.

When: Applications for each school year will be available July 1.

Applications will be accepted anytime through the school year.

Where:

1.   Your Applications will be mailed to the homes of all children currently registered in School District U-46.

2.   The ESC Building at 355 East Chicago St. Elgin at the Main Entrance and in

      the Food and Nutrition Office room 213.

3.  Applications will be available at on site registration at all schools.

     To speed up the approval process we suggest:

1.   Fill out 1 application for the entire family.

2.   Carefully follow instructions on application.

3.   Remember to sign the application.

4.   Return application to Food Service Office.
