High School Meetings on Technology
1. Building technology
use description
The major issue
for high schools was the lack of functioning labs. Most high school labs
have old equipment. All high schools had technology committees, but some
were more active than others. Most departments have at least one strong
technology user who supports other teachers.
Major factors affecting
technology use were:
- Lack of dependable
technology in lab and labs often to small to accommodate large classes
- Existence of
technology advocates (principal and/or teachers) in the building .
