Committee Members: Hilly Curda, April Johns, Betsy O'Connell, Melanie Meidel, Manuel Martinez, Janice Such, Patricia Makishima, Donna Magnuson, Luz Anguiano, Janine Shelley

 

  • I.   Janine Shelley presented revisions of the Software/Product Approval Form. Changes made were intended to clarify purposes. The form is available under Instructional Technology/Adopted and Approved Software List on the Intranet.
  • II.   Janine Shelley informed the committee that processes for adding new technologies to buildings are being reviewed to assure that those technologies can be properly supported. The committee will be kept informed

  • III.   Janine Shelley and April Johns briefly discussed the Internet presentation presented to a group of U-46 administrators and librarians. April expressed concern that the district can better support Internet filtering, especially individual needs for temporarily opening blocked sites.
  • IV.  The committee reviewed the Teacher Technology and Learning Survey and made recommendations to delete some of the redundancy in the survey. Survey revisions will be shared with the committee prior to the next meeting. Janine Shelley will request that ITFs have all building teachers take the survey before the end of the school year.
