Technology in U-46

 

School District U-46 recognizes that “ To live and learn in an increasingly complex and information-rich society, students must be able to use technology effectively. Within an effective educational setting, technology can enable students to become:

The District Learning Outcomes also reflect an awareness of the importance of technology in educating our students for the world they will be a part of. The Learning Outcomes reflect the importance placed on integrating technology in the classroom in the Applications of Learning in every area of the Illinois Learning Standards.

District Learning Outcomes state:

Using technology is important in all curricular areas. Having technology skills involves using appropriate instruments, electronic equipment, computers and networks to access information, process ideas and communicate results.
