U-46 Submitting Application to ISBE
School District U-46, in collaboration with co-applicant Hamilton Wings, is submitting application to the Illinois Board of Education to continue its 21st Century Community Learning Centers program for the second of a three-year grant at the following sites for 2012-2013: Highland, Hillcrest, Laurel Hill, Lowrie, Parkwood, and Washington. This grant funds before and after school and summer programs to improve academic achievement of students at these six schools.
School District U-46, in collaboration with co-applicant Hamilton Wings, is submitting application to the Illinois State Board of Education for the FY13 21st Century Community Learning Centers grant. This competitive grant provides funds to improve academic achievement through programs offered before and after school and during the summer. If selected, U-46 will use funds to provide programs at the following elementary schools:
Century Oaks, Coleman, Heritage, Lords Park, Ridge Circle, and Sunnydale.
School District U-46 is pleased to announce that we intend to apply for two 21st CCLC grants that will provide after-school programming at Abbott Middle School and Elgin High School. U-46 will be applying as a co-applicant with the Illinois Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs.
