Teaching Tools for
High School Teachers
Much like builders use a variety of tools to create a strong and enduring structure, teachers use a number of tools to help their students build a strong and enduring academic base. Teachers select the tools they use based on the skills their students need to develop, the students' background knowledge and the best way to present a particular lesson.
The following tools have been collected for teachers in U-46. Like the builder, teachers carefully select the best tool to help students understand and develop learning skills. Not all activities or strategies are appropriate for every lesson or every classroom. By using their expertise and professional experiences, teachers are able to select and adapt lessons to meet the needs of their students.
