This course builds upon algebraic concepts covered in Algebra I and prepares students for advanced-level courses. New topics include: polynomial and rational relationships, radicals, logarithms and exponents, trigonometry, statistics, and probability. Problem solving is done with a functional approach, and real world applications are stressed, using available technology. Students who successfully complete this course should be able to apply problem-solving techniques in further mathematical studies and in their daily lives.
Prerequisites: Geometry and Algebra 1‐2
