Degrees and Certifications:

Miss Rine

This is my first year teaching! I'm so excited to be a part of U-46. I had a unique path getting into education. I graduated from The University of Akron in 2004, with a BA in Mass Media Communication and Video Production. I moved to the Chicagoland area from NE Ohio in spring of 2004, with a job in the music industry. After several years in the industry my firm closed and I went back to school and received my MA in Elementary Education from Roosevelt University. I was a substitute teacher in Itasca SD 10 and U-46 for several years when I discovered I enjoyed working in U-46’s ILP program. In the summer of 2016 I continued my education at Roosevelt, earning my LBS1 endorsement.  In the fall of 2016 I was hired here at Spring Trail as a Special Skills Paraeducator in Miss Lockhart’s class. New ILP classrooms were added for the 2017-18 school year and here I am!!
