The District Professional Development Committee allocates funds for schools/sites/departments to use to offer professional development opportunities at their sites to benefit staff, students, and the community. SIP teams may apply for these funds by completing the application process and submitting all required information to the Professional Development Committee to be reviewed using the committee's agreed upon Guidelines for Review. Applicants should expect to receive approval notification or suggestions for revision and re-submission from the committee the day after the next full committee meeting date.Steps for School/Site/Department Based Professional Development Application-Download the application (Word document file, bottom of page).-Follow the Guidelines for Application (pdf file, bottom of page).-Include all the required information.-The Word document is a fillable document. You may type into the document AFTER you download it. Rename and save your completed document.-Print your completed application.-Gather the required signatures.-Scan and email the signed application to the Professional Development Committee email, firstname.lastname@example.org. Applications MUST be submitted electronically on the most recent application form (CU-PD-F004).-Applications are reviewed during Professional Development Committee meetings using the Guidelines. If your application is not approved, feedback will be provided based on the Guidelines (CU-PD-F005). The committee encourages revisions and re-submissions.
