Hello Lowrie families. October’s Pto meeting was amazing. Great ideas for the next few months I’m so excited.
So this year we have decided to help get Lowrie a new playground in the back of the building where the kids have recess. So all funds this year will go towards a new playground. We are so excited for this. Doug our new treasure this year has already been working hard on getting all the information to make this happen. Thank you Doug.
October is Hispanic Heritage Month so in celebration we are looking for 6-8 families to donate Tamales, enchiladas, rice and more. We will be selling the food at our first Hispanic Heritage fundraiser coming at the end of this month. More information to come soon. Please reach out to me or our Teacher liaison this month Mrs. Abascal.
As you know November we will be selling Mamma lees popcorn again. So look out soon for that information to come the first week of November.
I’m working on a no cook night for the first week of November any ideas of restaurants that maybe we haven’t done in the past and you think we should try please let me know I would love your ideas.
Something that was brought up at the meeting on the 13th was doing a virtual craft night with the kids. I’m looking for some parents to help with ideas and help with this so please email me with ideas you have. My thought was to do a registration so we know what kids want to participate and we can get the supplies they would need and do it over the zoom with them. Let me know if you can help or have ideas for this virtual event.
Thank you for all your support. Questions please let me know.
