Lowrie offers a One-Way Dual Language program for English Language Learners who

come from a Spanish speaking background and qualify for bilingual services according to the Illinois State Board of Education. The program values both Spanish and English, guiding students toward becoming bilingual and biliterate learners with as much mastery of their native language as their second. 

The program will be offered to students in Pre-K through fifth grade during the 2014-15 school year. It has continued to expand as students have aged through the program.
