School District U-46 is committed to ensuring everyone has equal access to our programs and digital content.

What are we doing?

We design our web pages to meet or exceed Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, the industry standard for ensuring people with disabilities can easily and independently access, navigate, and use web content and mobile apps.

We are employing new technologies to unlock content currently in an inaccessible format, integrating accessibility into our procurement practices, and providing continual accessibility training for our staff. We monitor our digital offerings regularly to ensure compliance with our obligations under Title II of the Americans With Disabilities Act, but we could use your help.
