Bachelors in Music Education, 2009 Master's in Curriculum & Instruction, 2017 Endorsements: K-12 Music and ESL
Hello! I am Mrs. Wolowicz! I have been at Century Oaks for four years and love my work with these students. It is a pleasure to be around them and learn from them every day.
I have been teaching since 2010 after graduating from Illinois State University with a Bachelors in Music Education. I've taught in two districts, while a great distance apart, fairly similar. In 2017, I graduated from National Louis University with a Master's in Education in Curriculum & Instruction, as well as earning my endorsement in English as a Second Language.
At Century Oaks, I can be found not only in the music room, but as the Instructional Building Technology Coach and the Student Ambassador sponsor. I am a part of the School Leadership Team and find great joy in helping our school grow. I like to consider myself the students' cheerleader as I love to celebrate them as often as I can.
When I am not at school, I'm usually found with my family. My husband Dan and I currently have one son, Andrew (5 years old), one daughter, Halley (3 months) and two beagles, Charlie and Miley. We like to spend lots of time with our family and friends, often hosting barbeques or traveling to one of our parents houses. We love the White Sox, Bulls, Bears and Blackhawks (although none of those teams seem to do fairly well when it matters). We also love watching our alma mater, Illinois State Redbirds football and basketball, as well as the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
