     Mr. Brian Moran, Principal  

    Mr. Moran received his Bachelor's Degree from Northern Illinois University in Mathematics Education and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Aurora University.  His teaching career began 1995 at Ellis Middle School in U-46.  After one year he moved to Streamwood High School, and for the the next 20 years served as a Mathematics Teacher, Divisional, then Associate Principal.  He lives in Oswego with his wife, Colleen, daughters, Caitlin and Riley.  He enjoys sports, running, and being with friends and family.

    Dr. Gregory Baker - Associate Principal

    Dr. Gregory Baker began his career as a history teacher in 2003.  He has several years of high school leadership service including being a Department Chair, Dean of Students, and most recently an Assistant Principal of Student Services at Oswego High School.  Dr. Greg Baker is a graduate of Glenbard West High School (Glen Ellyn, Illinois), baccalaureate recipient from Illinois State University (Normal, Illinois), he received a Master's of Education in School Leadership from Concordia University Chicago (River Forest, Illinois), and holds a Ph. D. from Loyola University Chicago (Chicago, Illinois) in Cultural and Educational Policy.  Outside of work, Dr. Baker is married and has two boys.

    Mrs. Lori Lopez, Assistant Principal of Curriculum and Instruction, Instructional Chair for English and World Languages

     Mrs. Lopez comes to South Elgin High School from Larkin High School. There she served for 6 years as the Divisional Chairperson for Physical Education and Health. She taught English for a number of years in the Chicago suburban area.  Lori was instrumental in the formation of the First Class program at Larkin High School. She lives in St. Charles with her husband and two boys.

     Mrs. Jaime Becker, Dean of Students

    This is Mrs. Becker’s 14th year at South Elgin High School. Mrs. Becker started here in 2005 as a Spanish teacher and is currently in her 3rd year as a dean. She graduated from Southern Illinois at Carbondale with a Bachelor’s degree in Education. She also received her Master’s degree from Concordia University. Mrs. Becker currently lives in Elgin, and spends her free time with her daughter and son watching them play their favorite sports, softball and baseball.

    Mrs. Carrie Crowe, Instructional Chair for Social Science, World Languages, Fine Arts, Beacon Academy 

    Mrs. Crowe graduated with a Bachelors degree in English from Augustana College in Rock Island, IL and earned her Masters degree in Educational Leadership from Aurora University.  Prior to joining the administrative team, she taught English at SEHS for ten years, served as a teacher leader, coached the speech and drama team, and directed the winter musical.  She enjoys traveling, singing with the Elgin based choral group Heartland Voices, and spending quality time with her family.

     Mike Jezioro, Athletic Director, Instructional Chair for PE, Health & Driver's Ed

    Mr. Jezioro received his Bachelor’s Degree from Elmhurst College in Mathematics and his Master’s Degree from Governor’s State University.  Mr. Jezioro first began teaching Math at Westmont High School in 2003, while at Westmont he coached football, wrestling and softball.  From there he went to Oswego East High School and taught Math, coached football and was the head wrestling coach for 11 years.  Most recently Mr. Jezioro was a Dean of Students and Summer School Principal at Glenbard East High School.  Mr. Jezioro lives in Batavia with his wife Ann of 10 years and their four children, Ruth who is 8, Abigail who is 7, Eleanor who is 4 and Helen who is 2.  Mr. Jezioro enjoys all things athletic and currently enjoys watching his daughters play sports and dance. 

     Mr. Jeffrey Livengood, Dean of Students, Activities Director   

    This is his sixth year at South Elgin High School. Prior to being here he taught Biology for eleven years, was a school counselor for five years, and has been a school administrator for the past seven years. Most of his time in education was spent in Merced, CA where he was also a football and baseball coach for a combined 24 years. He is a graduate of Millikin University in Decatur, IL and achieved his Masters in Science degree from Chapman University in Orange, CA. He enjoys golfing and riding my Harley with his wife on the weekends. He says "It has been great to be part of the Storm family and it keeps getting better every year!" 

     Mr. Brian Packowitz - Dean of Students

    Mr. Packowitz graduated with a Bachelors degree in Spanish Education from Northeastern Illinois University. He holds a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the American College of Education and a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership from Northeastern Illinois University.  Before working for the district, he taught Spanish at Mundelein High School for 8 years and served for 6 years as the head boys and girls tennis coach. He lives with his wife, Anna and newborn daughter Isabella.  He enjoys traveling, sports, working out, and spending time with friends and family.

    Mr. Phet Rattana, Special Education Instructional Chair 

    Mr. Rattana is a graduate of Elgin High School. He received his Bachelor's Degree from Illinois State University and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from American College of Education. Before working for the district, he taught English as a Second Language in South Korea for a year. Phet started in the district as a Regional Office of Education (R.O.E.) teacher at the alternative high school in Elgin for two years. Next, he was a Special Education teacher at Elgin High School for the next six years teaching all subject areas and was the Head tennis coach for both the boys and girls teams. 

    Mrs. Veronica Ryan, Instructional Chair for Math and Science 

    She is a graduate of Larkin High School. She holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Rockford College and a Master of Education in School Administration from National-Louis University. She has taught at St. Edward’s High School, Larsen Middle School, Elgin High School and served the district as a secondary instructional coach. Outside of her work at South Elgin High School she is a Professor of Education for Judson University preparing pre-service Math, Science, and Social Studies teachers to enter the wonderful world of education.
