I'm Laurie McDonough. I was raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I have 2 children - a daughter and a son. My daughter and her family live in the foothills of Colorado and my son lives here in Elgin. My family and I moved to Elgin in 1994. I have taught Preschool for 20 years before I started teaching for U-46. This is my 22 year working in the district. I don't know where the time went!! I have taught grades Kinder - 4th grade over the years but my love is with 3rd grade!!
