Department Information

The School District U-46 Legal Department represents the Board of Education and the District on a broad range of issues and in various types of legal matters.  Areas addressed by the Legal Department include:

Compliance

The Legal Department represents the District in compliance matters and in Title VI, Title VII, Title IX concerns.  Information about filing a complaint with the Legal Department is available in the following Board Policies:

The Legal Department also encompasses District Records, which addresses FOIA requests, student records requests, responses to subpoenas for student records, enrollment and registration.  Please see the District Records department page for additional information. 

 

Non-Discrimination
