Everyday Math is continued into 5th grade. Please refer to the Student Reference Book.
We enjoy novels of various genres.

We learn about U.S. History.
Students use the Internet to research a variety of subjects in the lab. The teachers use the computer lab as a tool to enhance projects, which are begun in the classroom.
ISAT Testing: Fifth graders are tested in the areas of Math and Reading.
In fifth grade, students are expected to be responsible for keeping a daily assignment notebook. Please feel free to ask your child to share it with you daily so you are informed about homework and upcoming tests.Contacting Your Child’s Teacher: We encourage parents to email us about any questions or problems they might have. Although teacher e-mail is checked regularly, please keep in mind that a response may not be immediate. For urgent/time-sensitive matters you should still call the school or send a note with your child.
