Legacy MS PTO |
Join Us for Our Very First PTO Meeting! We’re launching the brand-new Legacy Middle School PTO, and we need your voice and ideas to make it a success! Joining the PTO is a fantastic way to connect with other parents and collaborate directly with our new school’s teachers and administrators.
Can’t make the meeting? You can still get involved! We need volunteers to help staff our game-day concession stand—it's a fun, easy way to support our students. Sign up for a concessions shift here! Have questions or want to jump in and help out? Send us a note anytime at u46legacypto@gmail.com. We hope to see you on Wednesday 9/9 at 5pm! We will send a zoom link tomorrow before the meeting. |

Yondr Pounches/Student IDsAll Legacy Lynx students will receive their student IDs and Yondr pouches during their lunch periods on Monday. Please remind your student to keep all electronic devices put away throughout the school day, including headphones and earbuds. This includes in classrooms, hallways, during lunch, in the locker room, and bathrooms. All U-46 middle schools will be using secure bags, called Yondr pouches, as a tool to support this work. These guidelines support classroom learning and improved culture and climate efforts for all students in order to minimize distractions and help teachers create and manage a classroom and school environment conducive to learning, discussion and collaboration. It also helps protect students against bullying and/or inappropriate social media use during school hours, which are often exacerbated by access to cellphones and other wireless technology. Parents - If you need to get a hold of your student during the day, please call the main office and we will either relay your message or bring your student to the main office for you to speak to them directly. |
