High School Hybrid Sample Schedules
Our secondary Hybrid Models feature a combination of in-person instruction and distance learning, resulting in a minimum of 130 minutes synchronous or “live” online or in-person instruction per period each week along with a similar amount of asynchronous learning periods when students will work on teacher-guided assignments and have opportunities to get academic or social-emotional support. Students who have elected to participate in hybrid learning will attend school in-person two days per week. Additional time for small groups of students may be provided as necessary.

Students can also find their own individual schedule by logging into Infinite Campus and clicking on the Document option on the left-hand side to find a downloadable version. The weekly schedule will also be visible on the Document page and will be updated weekly. A video with detailed instructions can be found here. Distance Learning Sample Schedules
Students shall receive at least at least 2.5 hours of synchronous learning with real-time instruction and interaction between students and their teachers and additional time in asynchronous learning when they are independently working on teacher assisgnments, research, reading and related coursework.

Attendance
Teachers will take student attendance daily in Infinite Campus during the class period.
Expectations for Students
- Student attendance will be taken by teachers during synchronous periods.
- Student attendance will be taken automatically during asynchronous periods. Attendance will be marked present for asynchronous periods as long as the student was marked present for one synchronous period.
- Students are expected to follow the guidelines established by their teachers for distance learning.
- Students are expected to engage in, and complete, assignments posted by their teachers. For Dual Language students, the expectation is for the assignments to be completed in the language of instruction.
- Students are expected to submit work through Canvas by the posted due date.
- Students will contact the teacher with any learning issues or needs.
- Students will use the technical support link to report any technical issues or can call helpdesk at 847-888-5000 x4295.
