Wellness Resources for Students
We recognize that everyone is experiencing some level of additional stress and anxiety due to Covid-19. Whether it is adjusting to being at home with your student(s), assisting them with distance learning, dealing with changes to your income, caring for an ill family member, or suffering from many other losses, we know this is a difficult time. Our school social workers and counselors have compiled some information and resources that we hope will support our families.
Within this wellness section, we have provided links to resources such as social emotional websites, activities and stories that you can share with your children, from pre-k - through high school. Additionally there are resources and information for parents/guardians to assist in addressing their own anxiety or stress as well as tools for how to talk to and support their children during this time. We are all in this together and want you to know we care. The emotional well being of all U-46 families is a priority. We understand we need to first address our mental health and well being in order to get through this pandemic and for learning to occur. We hope this information helps your family stay emotionally well during this time.
