Childcare and Educational Support
A variety of reliable and reputable childcare programs will remain available to support families in the Distance Learning program, as well as families who choose for their children to receive increased in-person instruction starting in April 2021.
As School District U-46 transitions to a new learning schedule in April 2021, Right At School will now be offering before- and after-school on every school day, as well as a Monday Extended Day program in select schools. With flexible scheduling, choose the days you need based on your child's schedule.
Right at School is a nationally recognized program that provides before- and after-school care for families. Right At School accepts the state’s child care subsidy.
In order for Right at School to run quality programs in U-46, they must enroll a minimum of 15 children per school. They will conduct official registration counts on March 30 to determine school-by-school program status. So sign up today to ensure RAS meet its goals. If you register prior to April 6 and your school does not meet the enrollment minimum, you will receive a full refund of the registration fee and will not be billed for the program.
All Right At School programs adhere to their commitment to safety and align with U-46's safety protocols.
Childcare services will also be available through the Bartlett Park District (630-540-4800) at Centennial Elementary, the South Elgin Park District (847-622-0003 or email email@example.com) at Clinton Elementary, the Elgin Park District at the Centre (847-531-7017 or email firstname.lastname@example.org), and the Streamwood Park District at its Community Center (630-483-3010.)
