• Fingerprint/Background Check Policy

  • All individuals who will be in U-46 schools/buildings or around students and staff must have a cleared fingerprint-based criminal background check on file with Human Resources.

    If you fall under one of the following categories, this process applies to you.

    • District Employees
    • Non-Employees
      • Contract Employees
      • Student Teachers
      • Nursing/OT Students
      • Unpaid Interns
      • Volunteers

    The process differs depending on which category you fall under. For more information please use the links below referencing the Board Policy Manual, available on the district website.
