The safety of students and staff at School District U-46 is a top priority. In today’s society, the heightened focus on security and safety protocols is imperative. Safe school planning is a partnership that includes local emergency responders, community members, government leaders, social service networks, parents, and students. Through this collaboration, safer environments for students and staff can be accomplished.
This is the work of School District Safety and Security. This department is responsible for working with the schools and operational service departments to implement district-wide safety standards and comprehensive crisis response plans while maintaining a high level of building security.
The department has created links to various information regarding bullying, safety practices, student discipline, and Title IX. We have also included a copy of the most up-to-date Student Code of Conduct for your convenience. Please do not hesitate to contact us via Let's Talk! if you have any questions regarding policies and procedures.
Reporting
-
Anyone can report any incident via the online U-46 Reporting Form posted on the District’s website. Concerns and complaints can be made anonymously or they can share their name and contact information. We have combined our various reporting forms to a singular page for your convenience. Simply use the drop-down menus to select what kind of report you would like to file. The more information you can give, the easier it will be for the department to take action.
The District Coordinator of Student Discipline can also receive messages via Let's Talk!
