Mrs. Natalie Poli, Ed.S

Principal

Mrs. Natalie Poli joined School District U-46 in 2022 as Assistant Principal of Laurel Hill Elementary School with 10 years of teaching and instructional coaching experience and a children's book author. She has been an active educator in diverse school environments, including Title I and private schools, where she has taught 2nd grade, 3rd grade, Kindergarten through 5th grade special education, and a Kindergarten through 8th grade district instructional coach. 

Mrs. Poli's vision for Lowrie is to reignite our schools' purpose, mission and vision. She is dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environment where all learners achieve their highest potential. It's her goal to ensure high expectations and academic success for all students while engaging in rigorous tasks that embrace student's strength, cultural and linguistic diversity to foster lifelong learning in a safe and equitable environment. 

She holds a bachelors degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of Iowa, a masters of Arts and Teaching from National Louis University, and an Ed.S (Educational Specialist) in Educational Leadership and Administration from Walden University. Mrs. Poli's motto is Be Bold. Be Brave. Be You.
