MTSS

Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) is a program designed to provide students with high-quality instruction and interventions through academic and behavioral supports. This three-tiered program provides instruction at a universal level to meet all student needs. Students needing additional support are provided targeted intervention support in their area of necessity.

In order to support success in all students, during the first week of school students were educated through modeling and direct instruction on expected Tefft academic and behavior expectations. Once the behaviors are taught, students are expected to appropriately exhibit them. Students who exhibit these positive behaviors are rewarded with Student Points which can be redeemed for privileges and rewards.

These expectations are called Tefft CaReS. Our Tefft CaReS motto is:
