    1. The Elgin YWCA offers ESL classes for parents.
    2. Neighborhood Housing Services is a community partner for neighborhood enhancement projects in our community.
    3. Northern Illinois Food Bank provides backpacks full of food to some of our neediest students on Friday afternoons so they will have some means of nutrition over the weekend, when they don't have access to school breakfasts or lunches.
    4. Calvary Baptist Church offers volunteer support for school and family activities we hold here at Garfield.
    5. Marcus Theaters and Box Tops for Education provide funds and/or PBIS incentives to support behavioral goals we have in creating a supportive learning environment in our school.
    6. Elgin Police Department collaborates with us through a ROPE Officer liaison. The ROPE program is a form of community policing. 
    7. Kenyon Woods and Prairieview Middle Schools offer clothing donations to our students.
    8. Exxon Mobile awarded a grant to us for math and science program funding.
    9. Marmion Academy and ATT donates supplies to our students.
    10. A 21st Century Grant has allowed us to offer before and after school programming for students as extracurricular enrichment opportunities.
    11. Gail Borden Public Library offers summer reading programs for our students as well as reading programs during the school year.
