A Little About Me. . .

I have been teaching in U-46 since 2000. I have taught first, second, fourth, mutli-grade 1/2, and seventh grade English. I earned my bachelor's degree from North Central College in Naperville and a masters in Curriculum & Instruction: ESL from National Louis University. Teaching children has been my passion for as long as I can remember. The most important concept my students can learn is to love learning.

I have two wonderful children. My oldest, Emma, is a junior and my son, Pieter, is a freshman.

My favorite colors are pink & purple.

My favorite food is salad.

My favorite vacation is when I don't cook or clean.

My favorite activities are gardening and reading self-help books.
