Miss Nystedt has been teaching music since 2003 and at Coleman since 2004! She has taught at ten other schools in U-46, but Coleman remains her home. She graduated from Illinois State University and has Orff certification from VanderCook College of Music. She's been singing since she can remember and a part of a choir since she could join in 6th grade! She's also been in several musicals and musical revues. She was awful at recorder when she was a student, but has become pretty good at it with more practice, and has also started to learn the ukulele!
