Chromebook Support/Information

    Students will be using Canvas, a Learning Management System, that serves as a virtual classroom or hub, holding all class assignments, activities, quizzes, tests, and more. Students and teachers can also communicate with each other via Canvas. We hope that these two tools will offer teachers, students and parents a streamlined approach to teaching and learning.

    Students may access their Canvas classes through Clever, or through the waffle (the grid of nine small grey boxes on the top right) on their student Gmail account. They will enter the Canvas portal by clicking the orange sunburst icon labeled “Canvas.”  


    Parents can access Canvas by visiting    Parents will need to set up a parent account on Canvas and obtain an "Observer Code" from your student's Canvas account.  Please see the video below on how to obtain and observe your student's Canvas.

    Device Support

    • To learn how to log in to a District issued-device, like a Chromebook or iPad, please see the tutorial videos listed below. You will also find a folder of various how-to documents on accessibility, how to connect to wi-fi, navigating Clever, accessing Zoom, and more.

      Students who  need a Chromebook repair, can come into the Library during the school day for help.   

      If students need a repair/replacement during the summer or holiday break, please call our office to set up an appointment at 630-213-5550.
