Assistant Principal Nicole Bryan
-
Ms. Nicole Bryan worked in public education as a special education teacher for 11 years prior to becoming Centennial's Assistant Principal. She has worked with students from 1st to 8th grade in a variety of roles. Additionally, she has served on numerous district and building committees that have better prepared her to be a leader in education. Ms. Bryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Education (LBS1) degree from Illinois State University, as well as two Master’s degrees from Concordia University Chicago: Special Education Leadership and Illinois Principal Preparation. She looks forward to uniting her experiences in supporting Centennial's staff and students.
Looking ahead to the 2024-2025 school year, Ms. Bryan commits to putting students first and working diligently to ensure their success at Centennial School. An important goal of hers is to continue establishing relationships with staff, students, families, and members of the community to maximize her effectiveness. To do this, she promises to be visible and present in day-to-day operations as well as after-school events at Centennial and in the community. In addition to developing and fostering meaningful relationships, she aspires to create and sustain a school environment in which each student is known, accepted, and valued and staff feel comfortable approaching her for assistance and guidance. As a former special education teacher, she believes that every student can learn when given the proper support. As an instructional leader, she will ensure that students and staff alike have the tools, strategies, and resources for continuous student achievement and that efforts are focused on whole child development and learning.
Ms. Bryan is looking forward to an amazing 2024-2025 school year! Feel free to reach out with any questions, concerns, or input you may wish to discuss with her; please know that her door is always open, and she is here to work with you.
