PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention Support) is a proactive system approach to discipline for creating and maintaining a positive, safe learning environment for students and staff in a school setting. It provides an opportunity for all students to learn the social/emotional skills needed to ensure student success at school and beyond. The PBIS expectation at Heritage Elementary School is known as Be Safe, Be Respect and Be Responsible. PBIS is a data driven system whereby the data is reviewed by the Universal and Secondary teams regularly.
