• The District, in collaboration with local agencies and organizations, is offering a variety of childcare opportunities to support families during our Distance Learning Program. 

    In partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of Elgin, childcare for U-46 students in kindergarten through 8th grade will be offered at Elgin, Larkin, South Elgin, Streamwood, and Bartlett High Schools as well as at the organization’s Elgin Clubhouse, 355 Dundee Ave. Details can be found at http://www.bgcelgin.org/clubinfo or by calling 847-608-5017. 

    Right at School, U-46’s before- and after-care provider, will offer childcare for U-46 students in kindergarten through 6th grade at Coleman Elementary and Hilltop Elementary in Elgin; Sycamore Trails Elementary and Bartlett Elementary in Bartlett; and Fox Meadow Elementary in South Elgin.     Opportunities are available to all U-46 students, regardless of the school they attend. 

    Childcare services will also be available through the Bartlett Park District (630-540-4800) at Centennial Elementary, the South Elgin Park District (847-622-0003 or email seprprograms@southelgin.com) at Clinton Elementary, and the Elgin Park District at the Centre (847-531-7017 or email jachowske_r@cityofelgin.org). Information on services being offered by the Streamwood Park District will be shared as soon as they are available.
