• The safety of students and staff at School District U-46 is a top priority. In today’s society, the heightened focus on security and safety protocols is imperative. Safe school planning is a partnership that includes local emergency responders, community members, government leaders, social service networks, parents, and students. Through this collaboration, safer environments for students and staff can be accomplished. 

    This is the work of the School Safety department. This department is responsible for working with the schools and operational service departments to implement district-wide safety standards and comprehensive crisis response plans while maintaining a high level of building security.

    The department has created links to various information regarding bullying, safety practices, student discipline, and Title IX. We have also included a copy of the most up-to-date Student Code of Conduct for your convenience.
