My name is Julie Reuter and this is my 10th year teaching 2nd grade at Coleman Elementary School.  I have been teaching in District U-46 since 1992.  I started tutoring individual students that were homebound due to injuries or illness.  Then I started substituting full time throughout the district in 1999, which led to becoming a building substitute at Huff Elementary in Elgin. Huff is where I taught 3rd grade for 10 years until I was transferred to Coleman.  I have lived in Elgin since 1989.  I am married to my husband, Jim and we have 2 sons: Jim and John, who are both college graduates and working in the real world.
