Mrs. Reza

Thank you for visiting our classroom page!

I love being a part of our Glenbrook community! It is great to see our students grow and flourish. I have been teaching in School District U-46 as well as at Glenbrook Elementary school since August 2014. I previously worked in School District 15 as a teacher assistant in a Bilingual Kindergarten classroom. Before that, I worked as a full-time substitute for a Reading Specialist in District 54. I was hired for the position after completing my internship in a 2nd grade Dual Language classroom.

I was raised and went to school in Palatine, IL. I am a proud Alum of Illinois State University, Go Redbirds! I am married and have 2 children who attend Glenbrook. Jasmine is in 6th grade and Santiago is in 5th grade. My hobbies are photography, coloring and reading with my children. I love listening to all types of music as well as cooking. I am of Mexican-American decent. My father is from Villa Guerrero, Mexico and my maternal grandparents are from the state of Zacatecas, Mexico. I am anxious for my next opportunity to go and visit the beautiful country of Mexico!

I strongly believe that learning starts at home and hope that you will join our team by supporting our efforts to educate your child(ren). I welcome parents into the classroom anytime and I know the students love seeing your interest in their education!
