Glenbrook students out perform their peers statewide on a number of metrics, including standardized tests, with nearly half (49 percent) of all students meeting or exceeding standards on the PARCC in 2017 compared to 34 percent of students across the state. In 2016, Chicago Magazine recognized Glenbrook Elementary as one of the top 10 best suburban elementary schools.

Streamwood Elementary hosts many vibrant before- and after-school clubs and programs, including chorus, robotics, coding, and Wiffle ball.

Glenbrook aims to be a friendly school with a team that consistently works together to improve students' educational and social-emotional experiences. This experience includes encouraging leadership among our students through peer tutoring, mentorship, and our Youth Advisory Council.  Together we are working to create a space where all students, family, and staff can learn and grow together.
