The safety of students and staff at School District U-46 is a top priority. In today’s society the heightened focus on security and safety protocols is imperative. Safe school planning is a partnership that includes local emergency responders, community members, government leaders, social service networks, parents and students. Through this collaboration, safer environments for students and staff can be accomplished.   

This is the work of School District Safety and Culture. This department is responsible for working with the schools and operational service departments to implement district-wide safety standards and comprehensive crisis response plans while maintaining a high level of building security.
