Mr. Jonathon Miquelon - Principal
My name is Jonathon Miquelon, and I am beginning my first year as the principal of South Elgin High School. After 19 years in education, all of which were spent in U46, I am proud and excited for the opportunity to lead the important work that we are doing to continually change our systems until they measurably work for all students. My core belief is that if we work together to provide our students with complex, challenging tasks, establish high expectations and support students to exceed those expectations, and change and build an environment where all students feel a strong sense of belonging; that our students and community will thrive. I look forward to working alongside you to ensure that all our students Take the Future by Storm!

I am excited to begin my third year at South Elgin High School supporting our staff and students. For over 15 years, I have been a proud resident of South Elgin myself and love being able to support students in the community that I live. Prior to this role, I taught high school Math, was a middle school assistant principal, middle school principal, and the former AP of STEM here at SEHS. Outside of school, I am a professional magician performing at a variety of private and corporate events.
