Who is the PTH?
The PTH is a VOLUNTEER group of parents and teachers who work together to enhance the educational experience of the children attending our school. Our goal is to work together, through fundraising and volunteer opportunities, to offer events and programs that the school/district would otherwise not be able to provide.
What does the PTH provide?
100% of the funds raised by the PTH go back to our school and our students. When you support the PTH, you are supporting the education of our children.
Where do we get our funding?
PTH is able to provide these extras due to your generous support of our fundraisers, including Walk for the Hawks, Book Fair, Boxtops for Education, Flower Sales and Membership Donations. Other smaller fundraisers comprise the remainder of the budget.
Building a stronger community.
PTH sponsors events throughout the year so that our families can come together for a fun filled evening. Candy Bar Bingo, Father/Daughter dance, Talent Show and Fun Fair are highlights of the year. This year, we would like to add a Mother/Son event. We also assist the teachers and principal with Family Literacy night. All families are welcome to join us at these events.
How can I get involved?
You can make a difference! At the beginning of the school year, a PTH membership form will be sent home with all students. We encourage each family to submit the $15.00 per family donation. Donating to the PTH does not obligate you to donate your time, but if you would like to get involved in one or more of our committees, we would love your help!
All parents and teachers are invited to join our monthly meetings the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 6:30pm in the Commons.
