Our vision at Hillcrest is The Hillcrest Community is a collaborative community comprised of stakeholders dedicated to developing a culture of inclusiveness so that all students will be global citizens, self-advocates, critical thinkers and lifelong learners.
Our mission is At Hillcrest, we are invested in developing quality relationships with students as well as all stakeholders to promote an environment of equity, critical thinking, and engagement. Through a culture of awareness for our diverse community, teachers and families will work collaboratively to develop the whole child. We recognize each student's individual strengths and needs, and encourage each student to be self-advocates in order to develop their full potential as life-long learners and to prepare them for future success and we adhere to these core beliefs: If we want students to be self-advocates, engaged critical thinkers, and lifelong learners...

Our attendance will be increased from 90.7% to 92.0%.
ALL students will be engaged in learning activities aligned to the standards in each unit with learning targets and tasks at the appropriate taxonomy level.
ALL teachers will use formative/summative assessment data to monitor and differentiate instruction for all students in Literacy and Math.

Hillcrest is a Title I, Dual Language, multi-cultural school serving nearly 500 students and their families who reside in a medium-sized suburban community. As a family of teachers, staff, and stakeholders, we are committed to the successes of all students. Hillcrest aspires to deliver 21st Century instructional experiences to help students become self-advocates, engaged critical thinkers, and lifelong learners.
Our School Improvement Team, School Instructional Leadership Team, School Department Team, Multi-Tiered Support Systems Team are continuously engaging in intentional work that will support our students and families reach their full potential through data analysis, school improvement goals and actions and supports to assist students in need of additional academic needs.
We are focused on meeting the unique needs of each of our students, ensuring that their days are meaningful, productive, enjoyable, and most importantly, academically enriching.
