A special meeting of the Board of Education of School District U-46 will begin at 6 p.m. on Monday, June 29, at the Educational Services Center, 355 East Chicago Street, Elgin, in Room 140.
The Board of Education will move to closed session immediately following the Call to Order and Roll Call. The Board of Education will begin the public session at the conclusion of closed session in Room 140 at 7 p.m.
Gov. Pritzker recently extended the disaster declaration related to the COVID-19 pandemic to the State of Illinois through June 29, 2020. Based on the current health concerns, Board President Sue Kerr has determined that it is neither practical nor prudent to hold an in-person meeting of the Board of Education on June 29. Therefore, the Board meeting scheduled for June 29, 2020 will be remote in compliance with the procedures set forth in Public Act 101-640.
The Board will be participating electronically using a Zoom Webinar which the public may join live at https://zoom.us/j/96160890052. Members of the public will be able to issue public comment through the Zoom application during the public comment portion of the meeting.
Full Board meeting agenda can be found on the District’s website here: BOARD MEETING AGENDAS. The meeting will also be available on the District's YouTube Channel within 24 hours of the meeting.
