Welcome to science with Stewart!  Every since I was a small child, I have always loved science and that love for the subject continues until today.  I graduated from Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, Illinois as a Pre- med major.  However, after graduation, I worked in the medical research field for several years.  After getting married and having four children, I decided to substitute teach for a while. In 2007,  I had the desire to share my love of science with students, therefore, I enrolled in the Master's Of Art in Teaching, Alternative Cetification Program at Benedcitine Univeristy, in Lisle, Illinois, in order to become certified in middle school and high school science.  I have held science posiitons in East Aurora, Bellwood, Broadview and Addison, Illinois. Presently, I have had the privelage of teaching science at Dream Academy for the last four years and I look forward to teaching many more years at Dream.  In addition, I am pursuing my English as Second Language Endorsement. I will complete the course summer, 2020.
