• Here are pictures of the Day of the Dead Display the 7th grade students did to learn about this commonly practiced tradition in many Spanish speaking countries.  Each class chose a famous deceased person to honor with an "ofrenda."  Each "ofrenda" was decorated with items/images that represented the famous person's life.  In addition, each student painted a decorative skull to add more color and variety to the display.  A group of students also created a committee which met for several days after school and created the beautiful paper skeletons.
