¡Bienvenidos a la clase de español!  Spanish is a class in which students learn the basics of the language to empower them to succeed in more advanced Spanish classes in the future.  Throughout the year, students learn to express themselves in Spanish through the acquisition of listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in the target language.  A variety of learning methods, approaches, and modification are employeed to allow ALL students to succeed by targeting all different learning styles, and by encouraging individual growth and improvement each and everyday.  Students also learn about different Spanish speaking cultures around the world.  The boarder goal is to develop more well-rounded students and to help them acquire the learning skills which will help them succeed in many different academic and professional settings beyond this particular class.  Ultimately, this class helps students take advantage of the many social, cognitive, and professional benefits learning a second language has to offer.
